Set in 27 acres of beautiful Kent countryside the Swattenden Centre has something for everyone.


The centre piece of the Swattenden site a grand white mansion with high ceilings and large dormitory accommodation, games room with Table tennis, pool and board games

Leaders lounge and direct access to our large meeting rooms during the evening for self-led group work (Subject to availability).

The Mansion can sleep a total of 85 guests. we can also divide the mansion to accommodate two smaller groups with sleeping accommodation on separate landings.

The annex is Disability Discrimination Act compliant with a single bed for disabled visitors.

We can accommodate both large and small groups for Duke of Edinburgh training. Other groups can also choose to camp.

Kent County Council DofE can supply tents and other associated equipment subject to availability as we do not have tents at Swattenden. We have agreed reasonable hire charges for equipment from Kent County Council DofE for groups wishing to spend there stay under canvas. .
